In Friday's non-league test, the Lexington Yellowjackets (Lexington, NC) basketball squad defeated the visiting East Rutherford Cavaliers (Forest City, NC), by a score of 60-52.

Next, the Yellowjackets clash with the East Burke Cavaliers (Connelly Springs, NC) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, March 4. Lexington will attempt to move on its 22-4 season record. The Cavaliers go into the bout with a 28-1 record after their 64-43 non-league win over Randleman (Randleman, NC).

With the loss, East Rutherford falls to 12-16 on the campaign.
