California High School Volleyball - Cathedral over San Gabriel
February 29, 2024: San Gabriel, CA 91776 Cathedral Phantoms (Los Angeles, CA) supporters left the game in high spirits Thursday as they observed their volleyball squad top the host San Gabriel Matadors (San Gabriel, CA), 3-1 in a non-league match.
Next up, the Phantoms clash with the Kennedy Fighting Irish (La Palma, CA) in a non-league match, on Friday, March 1. Cathedral will attempt to advance on its 3-2 season record. The Fighting Irish enter the game with a 3-5 record after their 3-0 non-league loss to Canyon (Anaheim, CA).
The Matadors (2-3) will now prepare for their game against Alhambra (Alhambra, CA). The Moors enter the Almont game with a 3-1 record. In their last game, Alhambra gained a win over Rosemead (Rosemead, CA), 3-2, in a non-league game.
