The crowd at Saturday's non-league battle between the Hillcrest Rams (Simpsonville, SC) and the visiting Belton-Honea Path Bears (Honea Path, SC), saw Hillcrest's baseball team get by Belton-Honea Path by a tally of 4-3.

The Rams (2-0) will now prepare for their battle against Mauldin (Mauldin, SC). The Mavericks go into the 5A Region 1 challenge with a 1-0 record.

With the defeat, Belton-Honea Path drops to 0-3 on the year. The Bears host Christ Church Episcopal (Greenville, SC) to clash with the Cavaliers in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, March 4.
