Fans at Saturday's non-league contest between the Lexington Wildcats (Lexington, SC) and the host Carolina Forest Panthers (Myrtle Beach, SC), witnessed Lexington's lacrosse squad hold off Carolina Forest by a score of 8-7.

The Wildcats (1-1) will now prepare for their contest against White Knoll (Lexington, SC). The Timberwolves enter the 5A District 4 contest with a 0-2 record. In their last contest, White Knoll was nipped by Clover (Clover, SC), 19-3, in a non-league contest.

Next, the Panthers meet the South Brunswick Cougars (Southport, NC) in a non-league contest, on Monday, March 3. Carolina Forest will attempt to better on its 1-1 season record. The Cougars enter the contest with a 1-1 record after their 11-9 non-league loss to Socastee (Myrtle Beach, SC).
