South Carolina High School Softball - Cheraw nudges Hickory Grove Christian
March 4, 2023: Cheraw, SC 29520 The crowd at Saturday's non-league match between the Cheraw Braves (Cheraw, SC) and the visiting Hickory Grove Christian Lions (Charlotte, NC), saw Cheraw's softball squad nip Hickory Grove Christian by a count of 1-0.
The Braves now sport a 1-0 record. They take the field next when they travel to McBee for a non-league match on Thursday, April 6.
With the loss, Hickory Grove Christian falls to 3-3 on the campaign. The Lions travel to Lamar (Lamar, SC) to face the Silver Foxes in a non-league match on Saturday, March 4. The Silver Foxes enter the match with a record of 0-1. Lamar lost 4-3 in their recent non-league match against Carolina Forest (Myrtle Beach, SC)
