Texas High School Softball - Wortham loses to Grace Community
March 4, 2023: Wortham, TX 76693 The Grace Community Cougars softball team scored 18 runs and limited the host Wortham Bulldogs to 2 in the Cougars non-league triumph on Saturday.
With the triumph, Grace Community moves its record to 9-6 on the year. The Cougars travel to Athens (Athens, TX) to clash with the Hornets in a non-league game on Tuesday, March 14. The Hornets come into the game with a record of 0-10.
In their next game, the Bulldogs clash with the Abbott Panthers (Abbott, TX) in a 1A Region II District 14 game, on Tuesday, March 7. Wortham will attempt to move on its 2-10 season record. The Panthers come into the game with a 4-2 record after their 11-7 non-league loss to Frost (Frost, TX).
