Texas High School Soccer - Westwood toppled by Palestine
March 4, 2025: Palestine, TX 75802 Palestine Wildcats (Palestine, TX) boosters exited the stadium pleased Tuesday as they witnessed their soccer team triumph over the host Westwood Panthers (Palestine, TX), 9-0 in a league test.
With the triumph, Palestine moves its record to 16-3 on the campaign. The Wildcats host Diboll (Diboll, TX) to clash with the Lumberjacks in a 4A Region 2 District 16 test on Friday, March 7. The Lumberjacks come into the test with a record of 6-7. Diboll won 4-0 in their recent league test against Westwood (Palestine, TX)
The Panthers now sport a 2-17 record. They take the field next when they travel to Madisonville for a 4A Region 2 District 16 test on Friday, March 7. Westwood will clash with a Mustangs team coming off a 5-1 league win over Hudson (Lufkin, TX). The Mustangs record now stands at 13-5.
