South Carolina High School Soccer - St. James toppled by West Ashley
March 6, 2025: Charleston, SC 29414 West Ashley Wildcats (Charleston, SC) backers exited the stadium pleased Thursday as they witnessed their soccer team beat the visiting St. James Sharks (Murrells Inlet, SC), 5-1 in a non-league test.
With the triumph, West Ashley advances its record to 2-2 on the campaign. The Wildcats host Porter-Gaud (Charleston, SC) to meet the Cyclones in a non-league match on Friday, March 7. The Cyclones come into the match with a record of 2-2. Porter-Gaud lost 2-1 in their recent non-league match against Bishop England (Charleston, SC)
The Sharks now sport a 2-3 record. They take the field next when they travel to Socastee for a AAAAA Region 6 match on Tuesday, March 11. St. James will meet a Braves team coming off a 4-1 non-league loss to Nation Ford (Fort Mill, SC). The Braves record now stands at 4-3.
