March 7, 2024: Ronda, NC 28670 The East Wilkes Cardinals routed the visiting East Surry Cardinals softball squad by a final score of 9-1 in Thursday's non-league battle.
The Cardinals (2-1) will now prepare for their battle against Mount Airy (Mount Airy, NC). The Granite Bears go into the Northwest 1A battle with a 0-2 record. In their last battle, Mount Airy was routed by North Surry (Mount Airy, NC), 11-1, in a non-league battle.
The Cardinals now possess a 1-1 record. They play next when they host North Wilkes for a Foothills 2A battle on Friday, March 15.
