The Portage Indians (Portage, IN) basketball toppled the host Chesterton Trojans (Chesterton, IN), 69-55 in Friday's non-league bout.

The Indians now possess a 19-5 record. They play next when they travel to Merrillville for a non-league bout on Saturday, March 8. Portage will play a Pirates team coming off a 45-42 non-league win over Valparaiso (Valparaiso, IN). The Pirates record now stands at 6-18.

With the loss, Chesterton falls to 15-9 on the campaign.
