North Carolina High School Soccer - Perquimans knocks off Albemarle School
March 7, 2025: Hertford, NC 27944 Fans at Friday's non-league battle between the Perquimans Pirates (Hertford, NC) and the visiting Albemarle School Colts (Elizabeth City, NC), saw Perquimans's soccer squad knock off Albemarle School by a count of 5-2.
The Pirates (1-1) will now prepare for their battle against Holmes (Edenton, NC). The Aces enter the non-league battle with a 3-1 record. In their last battle, Holmes tipped Beddingfield (Wilson, NC), 10-1, in a non-league battle.
Next up, the Colts confront the Lawrence Academy Warriors (Merry Hill, NC) in a NCISAA Tarheel battle, on Tuesday, March 11. Albemarle School will attempt to upgrade on its 0-2 season record. The Warriors enter the battle with a 0-1 record after their 4-1 non-league loss to Holmes (Edenton, NC).
