March 7, 2025: Florence, SC 29501 The West Florence Knights soccer squad scored 3 points and held the visiting South Florence Bruins to 1 in the Knights non-league victory on Friday.
The Knights now possess a 3-1 record. They play next when they travel to Lugoff-Elgin for a AAAAA Region 5 bout on Tuesday, March 11. West Florence will play a Demons squad coming off a 4-0 non-league win over North Central (Kershaw, SC). The Demons record now stands at 2-4.
With the loss, South Florence falls to 0-1 on the campaign. The Bruins host Crestwood (Sumter, SC) to clash with the Knights in a AAAA Region 5 test on Tuesday, March 11. The Knights come into the test with a record of 0-1. Crestwood lost 2-0 in their recent non-league test against Gilbert (Gilbert, SC)
