South Carolina High School Soccer - Broome nudges Midland Valley
March 10, 2024: Spartanburg, SC 29307 The Broome Centurions (Spartanburg, SC) soccer nudged the visiting Midland Valley Mustangs (Graniteville, SC), 1-0 in Sunday's non-league bout.
With the win, Broome moves its record to 1-2 on the campaign. The Centurions host Travelers Rest (Travelers Rest, SC) to battle the Devildogs in a AAA Region 3 bout on Tuesday, March 12. The Devildogs go into the bout with a record of 1-2. Travelers Rest lost 4-0 in their recent non-league bout against Eastside (Taylors, SC)
In their next game, the Mustangs battle the Aiken Fighting Green Hornets (Aiken, SC) in a AAAA Region 4 bout, on Tuesday, March 12. Midland Valley will attempt to move on its 1-5 season record. The Fighting Green Hornets go into the bout with a 1-4 record after their 3-0 league win over Airport (West Columbia, SC).
