The Apex Friendship Patriots lacrosse team (Apex, NC), was overwhelmed 12-8 in Monday's league battle with the visiting Holly Springs Golden Hawks (Holly Springs, NC)

With the victory, Holly Springs advances its record to 3-2 on the season. The Golden Hawks travel to Green Hope (Cary, NC) to encounter the Falcons in a Southwest Wake battle on Thursday, March 13. The Falcons come into the battle with a record of 4-1.
