The Plant Panthers softball team scored 8 runs and held the host Sickles Gryphons to 7 in the Panthers league win on Thursday.

The Panthers now sport a 7-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host Steinbrenner for a non-league battle on Tuesday, March 24. Plant will encounter a Warriors team coming off a 10-0 non-league win over Sumner (Riverview, FL). The Warriors record now stands at 7-3.

The Gryphons (4-4) will now prepare for their test against Seminole (Seminole, FL). The Warhawks go into the non-league test with a 5-2 record. In their last test, Seminole held off Clearwater Central Catholic (Clearwater, FL), 12-1, in a non-league test.
