March 14, 2025: Tarboro, NC 27886 The Tarboro Vikings (Tarboro, NC) baseball trounced the visiting North Edgecombe Warriors (Tarboro, NC), 7-0 in Friday's non-league challenge.
The Vikings now own a 4-2 record. They take the field next when they host Bertie for a Four Rivers 1A challenge on Tuesday, March 18. Tarboro will clash with a Falcons team coming off a 11-5 non-league loss to Ridgecroft (Ahoskie, NC). The Falcons record now stands at 1-6.
With the defeat, North Edgecombe drops to 0-3 on the year. The Warriors host Southeast Halifax (Halifax, NC) to clash with the Trojans in a Tar Roanoke 1A challenge on Monday, March 17. The Trojans go into the challenge with a record of 0-0.
