South Carolina High School Softball - Hillcrest edges Legion Collegiate Academy

The crowd at Friday's non-league bout between the Hillcrest Rams (Simpsonville, SC) and the visiting Legion Collegiate Academy Lancers (Rock Hill, SC), observed Hillcrest's softball team get by Legion Collegiate Academy by a tally of 7-5.

The Rams (3-4) will now prepare for their bout against A.C. Flora (Columbia, SC). The Falcons go into the non-league bout with a 1-1 record. In their last bout, A.C. Flora tipped South Pointe (Rock Hill, SC), 15-1, in a league bout.

In their next game, the Lancers clash with the Catawba Ridge Copperheads (Fort Mill, SC) in a non-league bout, on Friday, March 14. Legion Collegiate Academy will attempt to advance on its 4-2 season record. The Copperheads go into the bout with a 6-0 record after their 16-0 league win over Northwestern (Rock Hill, SC).
