Virginia High School Soccer - Glass knocks off Appomattox County
March 15, 2024: Lynchburg, VA 24501 Glass Hilltoppers (Lynchburg, VA) supporters were pleased Friday as they observed their soccer team prevail over the visiting Appomattox County Raiders (Appomattox, VA), 4-0 in a non-league challenge.
Next, the Hilltoppers confront the Liberty Minutemen (Bedford, VA) in a Seminole challenge, on Tuesday, March 19. Glass will attempt to move on its 1-0 season record. The Minutemen enter the challenge with a 0-1 record after their 1-0 non-league loss to Staunton River (Moneta, VA).
The Raiders now possess a 3-1 record. They take the field next when they host Halifax County for a non-league challenge on Tuesday, March 19. Appomattox County will meet a Comets squad coming off a 0-0 non-league Staunton River (Moneta, VA). The Comets record now stands at 0-1.
