March 15, 2025: Cerritos, CA 90703 The South Spartans volleyball team scored 1 points and restricted the host Valley Christian Defenders to 0 in the Spartans non-league triumph on Saturday.
The Spartans now have a 10-7 record. They play next when they travel to Santa Monica for a non-league outing on Tuesday, March 18. South will play a Vikings team coming off a 2-0 non-league loss to San Marcos (Santa Barbara, CA). The Vikings record now stands at 10-6.
With the loss, Valley Christian drops to 9-3 on the campaign. The Defenders host Village Christian (Sun Valley, CA) to play the Crusaders in a Olympic outing on Tuesday, March 18. The Crusaders come into the outing with a record of 4-10. Village Christian lost 2-1 in their recent non-league outing against Pacifica Christian (Newport Beach, CA)
