California High School Volleyball - Taft can't get by Valley Christian
March 15, 2025: Cerritos, CA 90703 Valley Christian Defenders (Cerritos, CA) boosters left the game satisfied Saturday as they saw their volleyball squad edge the visiting Taft Toreadors (Woodland Hills, CA), 2-1 in a non-league test.
With the win, Valley Christian improves its record to 9-3 on the season. The Defenders travel to Peninsula (Rolling Hills Estates, CA) to face the Panthers in a non-league test on Saturday, March 15. The Panthers go into the test with a record of 7-3. Peninsula lost 3-0 in their recent league test against Redondo Union (Redondo Beach, CA)
The Toreadors now own a 11-7 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to El Segundo for a non-league test on Saturday, March 15. Taft will face a Eagles squad coming off a 3-2 non-league win over North (Torrance, CA). The Eagles record now stands at 6-0.
