South Carolina High School Softball - Wardlaw Academy holds off Greenwood Christian
March 16, 2023: Greenwood, SC 29649 Wardlaw Academy Patriots (Johnston, SC) backers exited the stadium thrilled Thursday as they saw their softball squad nip the host Greenwood Christian Hawks (Greenwood, SC), 14-12 in a non-league challenge.
The Patriots now own a 4-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Richard Winn Academy for a challenge on Monday, March 20. Wardlaw Academy will battle a Eagles squad coming off a 18-3 non-league loss to Northside Christian Academy (Lexington, SC). The Eagles record now stands at 0-2.
With the loss, Greenwood Christian drops to 0-1 on the year. The Hawks travel to Ware Shoals (Ware Shoals, SC) to clash with the Hornets in a non-league game on Friday, April 7. The Hornets come into the game with a record of 3-3.
