March 16, 2024: Mountain View, MO 65548 Portageville Bulldogs (Portageville, MO) fans exited the stadium thrilled Saturday as they observed their baseball squad overcome the host Liberty Eagles (Mountain View, MO), 12-1 in a non-league test.
With the win, Portageville upgrades its record to 3-0 on the season. The Bulldogs host Scott City (Scott City, MO) to battle the Rams in a non-league test on Monday, March 18. The Rams come into the test with a record of 2-0. Scott City won 19-3 in their recent non-league test against Crystal City (Crystal City, MO)
With the defeat, Liberty falls to 1-1 on the season. The Eagles host Mansfield (Mansfield, MO) to battle the Lions in a Class 2 District 10 test on Monday, March 18. The Lions come into the test with a record of 1-0. Mansfield won 12-2 in their recent league test against Willow Springs (Willow Springs, MO)
