The Stratford Knights baseball team scored 8 runs and held the visiting Ashley Ridge Swamp Foxes to 7 in the Knights non-league win on Monday.

The Knights now own a 2-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Fort Dorchester for a non-league test on Tuesday, March 18. Stratford will clash with a Patriots team coming off a 5-0 non-league win over East Forsyth (Kernersville, NC). The Patriots record now stands at 4-0.

With the defeat, Ashley Ridge drops to 1-5 on the year. The Swamp foxes travel to Stall (Charleston, SC) to clash with the Warriors in a 5A Region 7 test on Monday, March 31. The Warriors go into the test with a record of 2-0.
