Spectators at Tuesday's league challenge between the Village Christian Academy Knights (Fayetteville, NC) and the visiting The O'Neal School Falcons (Southern Pines, NC), witnessed Village Christian Academy's baseball team knock off The O'Neal School by a count of 9-0.

The Knights now own a 6-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Northwood Temple Academy for a NCISAA Sandhills challenge on Thursday, March 20. Village Christian Academy will clash with a Eagles team coming off a 17-0 league loss to Freedom Christian Academy (Fayetteville, NC). The Eagles record now stands at 3-3.

With the defeat, The O'Neal School drops to 1-5 on the year. The Falcons host Fayetteville Christian (Fayetteville, NC) to clash with the Warriors in a NCISAA Sandhills challenge on Friday, March 21. The Warriors go into the challenge with a record of 0-4. Fayetteville Christian lost 18-0 in their recent non-league challenge against Cape Fear Christian Academy (Erwin, NC)
