March 19, 2025: Fort Mill, SC 29715 Fans at Wednesday's non-league battle between the Catawba Ridge Copperheads (Fort Mill, SC) and the visiting Christ Church Episcopal Cavaliers (Greenville, SC), saw Catawba Ridge's soccer squad hold off Christ Church Episcopal by a count of 1-0.
The Copperheads (6-2) will now prepare for their battle against Indian Land (Fort Mill, SC). The Warriors enter the AAAAA Region 3 battle with a 4-5 record. In their last battle, Indian Land was edged by Nation Ford (Fort Mill, SC), 1-0, in a league battle.
Next up, the Cavaliers confront the Powdersville Patriots (Greenville, SC) in a AAA Region 2 battle, on Monday, March 24. Christ Church Episcopal will attempt to upgrade on its 3-4 season record. The Patriots enter the battle with a 11-0 record after their 4-0 league win over Southside Christian (Simpsonville, SC).
