The Lancaster Bruins softball team scored 10 runs and held the host Northwestern Trojans to 3 in the Bruins non-league win on Wednesday.

The Bruins now possess a 4-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Richland Northeast for a AAAA Region 3 battle on Thursday, March 20. Lancaster will confront a Cavaliers team coming off a 18-0 league loss to Lancaster (Lancaster, SC). The Cavaliers record now stands at 1-3.

With the loss, Northwestern moves to 2-5 on the season. The Trojans travel to Fort Mill (Fort Mill, SC) to confront the Yellow Jackets in a AAAAA Region 3 battle on Friday, March 21. The Yellow Jackets come into the battle with a record of 2-1. Fort Mill lost 11-1 in their recent league battle against Catawba Ridge (Fort Mill, SC)
