The St. James Sharks edged the visiting Carolina Forest Panthers lacrosse team by a tally of 9-8 in Thursday's league match.

Next up, the Sharks confront the A.C. Flora Falcons (Columbia, SC) in a non-league match, on Friday, March 21. St. James will attempt to improve on its 5-1 season record. The Falcons enter the match with a 3-6 record after their 18-8 non-league loss to James F. Byrnes (Duncan, SC).

The Panthers (3-3) will now prepare for their match against Socastee (Myrtle Beach, SC). The Braves enter the 5A Lower District 5 match with a 3-3 record. In their last match, Socastee was tipped by T.L. Hanna (Anderson, SC), 13-3, in a non-league match.
