The St. Stephens Indians (Hickory, NC) lacrosse nudged the visiting Sun Valley Spartans (Monroe, NC), 1-0 in Thursday's non-league outing.

The Indians now own a 7-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Asheville for a NW/The Mountain/Western Foothills/Mtn. Foothills outing on Tuesday, March 25.

With the loss, Sun Valley falls to 1-2 on the year. The Spartans host Parkwood (Monroe, NC) to face the Wolf Pack in a Southern Carolina/Rocky River outing on Monday, March 31.
