In Thursday's league contest, the visiting St. James Sharks lacrosse squad scored a tight 9-6 win over the Carolina Forest Panthers.

The Sharks (3-3) will now prepare for their contest against May River (Bluffton, SC). The Sharks enter the non-league contest with a 5-3 record. In their last contest, May River nipped Richmond Hill (Richmond Hill, GA), 14-13, in a non-league contest.

Next, the Panthers meet the Socastee Braves (Myrtle Beach, SC) in a 5A District 5 contest, on Monday, March 24. Carolina Forest will attempt to better on its 3-3 season record. The Braves enter the contest with a 3-3 record after their 14-6 non-league loss to Eastside (Taylors, SC).
