East Columbus Gators (Lake Waccamaw, NC) backers exited the stadium thrilled Tuesday as they saw their softball squad run past the visiting Green Sea Floyds Trojans (Green Sea, SC), 12-2 in a non-league challenge.

The Gators now own a 8-0 record. They take the field next when they travel to Ashley for a non-league challenge on Wednesday, March 22.

With the loss, Green Sea Floyds falls to 2-8 on the campaign. The Trojans travel to Lamar (Lamar, SC) to battle the Silver Foxes in a A Region 6 challenge on Thursday, March 30. The Silver Foxes enter the challenge with a record of 3-7.
