March 21, 2024: LaGrange, GA 30241 The crowd at Thursday's non-league test between the Troup County Tigers (LaGrange, GA) and the visiting Riverdale Raiders (Riverdale, GA), saw Troup County's soccer squad beat Riverdale by a count of 5-1.
The Tigers now hold a 3-5 record. They play next when they host Whitewater for a 4A Region 4 test on Friday, March 22. Troup County will meet a Wildcats squad coming off a 10-0 league win over Riverdale (Riverdale, GA). The Wildcats record now stands at 7-3.
With the loss, Riverdale drops to 3-7 on the season. The Raiders travel to Trinity Christian (Sharpsburg, GA) to meet the Lions in a 4A Region 4 test on Monday, March 25. The Lions come into the test with a record of 12-2. Trinity Christian lost 9-0 in their recent league test against Starr's Mill (Fayetteville, GA)
