March 22, 2025: Monument, CO 80132 The Mead Mavericks (Longmont, CO) baseball trounced the host Palmer Ridge Bears (Monument, CO), 12-0 in Saturday's non-league challenge.
The Mavericks now own a 1-0 record. They take the field next when they host Holy Family for a challenge on Thursday, March 27. Mead will clash with a Tigers team coming off a 12-2 non-league win over Montbello (Denver, CO). The Tigers record now stands at 5-0.
With the defeat, Palmer Ridge drops to 0-2 on the year. The Bears travel to Coronado (Colorado Springs, CO) to clash with the Cougars in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, April 1. The Cougars go into the challenge with a record of 0-4. Coronado lost 11-1 in their recent non-league challenge against Rampart (Colorado Springs, CO)
