The Parkersburg South Patriots (Parkersburg, WV) softball routed the host Buckhannon-Upshur Buccaneers (Buckhannon, WV), 6-0 in Saturday's non-league outing.

The Patriots now own a 4-0 record. They take the field next when they host Dover for a non-league challenge on Monday, March 24.

The Buccaneers (2-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Grafton (Grafton, WV). The Bearcats go into the Big Ten challenge with a 1-0 record. In their last challenge, Grafton held off East Fairmont (Fairmont, WV), 12-5, in a league challenge.
