The Gretna East Griffins baseball team scored 11 runs and held the host Millard South Patriots to 5 in the Griffins non-league win on Tuesday.

The Griffins now hold a 2-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Millard North for a non-league test on Tuesday, March 25. Gretna East will play a Mustangs team coming off a 11-1 non-league win over Mount Michael Benedictine (Elkhorn, NE). The Mustangs record now stands at 1-0.

With the defeat, Millard South drops to 1-1 on the year. The Patriots host Skutt Catholic (Omaha, NE) to play the SkyHawks in a non-league test on Thursday, March 27.
