The crowd at Wednesday's non-league battle between the Chapin Eagles (Chapin, SC) and the host Hillcrest Rams (Simpsonville, SC), saw Chapin's baseball team beat Hillcrest by a margin of 10-5.

The Eagles (5-3) will now prepare for their battle against Lexington (Lexington, SC). The Wildcats enter the 5A Region 4 battle with a 5-5 record. In their last battle, Lexington held off Chapin (Chapin, SC), 1-0, in a league battle.

Next, the Rams face the T.L. Hanna Yellow Jackets (Anderson, SC) in a 5A Region 1 battle, on Friday, March 28. Hillcrest will attempt to improve on its 6-5 season record. The Yellow Jackets enter the battle with a 10-2 record after their 12-1 non-league win over Belton-Honea Path (Honea Path, SC).
