Mississippi High School Softball - Hazlehurst bounces Murrah
March 26, 2025: Jackson, MS 39202 The crowd at Wednesday's non-league bout between the Hazlehurst Indians (Hazlehurst, MS) and the host Murrah Mustangs (Jackson, MS), observed Hazlehurst's softball team prevail over Murrah by a tally of 20-2.
The Indians (1-6) will now prepare for their bout against Jefferson Davis County (Bassfield, MS). The Jaguars go into the 3A Region 6 bout with a 4-0 record. In their last bout, Jefferson Davis County knocked off Seminary (Seminary, MS), 11-3, in a league bout.
In their next game, the Mustangs clash with the Callaway Chargers (Jackson, MS) in a non-league bout, on Monday, March 31. Murrah will attempt to advance on its 2-4 season record.
