In Thursday's league match, the visiting Spring Valley Vikings softball team scored a nice 22-4 win over the Ridge View Blazers.

The Vikings (2-7) will now prepare for their match against Midland Valley (Graniteville, SC). The Mustangs come into the non-league match with a 6-4 record. In their last match, Midland Valley was routed by Gilbert (Gilbert, SC), 5-0, in a league match.

In their next game, the Blazers confront the Lugoff-Elgin Demons (Lugoff, SC) in a AAAAA Region 5 match, on Tuesday, April 1. Ridge View will attempt to better on its 1-5 season record.
