Ohio High School Softball - River Valley drops to Southern
March 27, 2025: Racine, OH 45771 Southern Tornadoes (Racine, OH) supporters left the game thrilled Thursday as they saw their softball squad topple the visiting River Valley Raiders (Bidwell, OH), 10-0 in a non-league game.
With the triumph, Southern improves its record to 3-2 on the year. The Tornadoes host South Charleston (South Charleston, WV) to face the Black Eagles in a non-league game on Friday, March 28. The Black Eagles enter the game with a record of 2-2. South Charleston won 26-6 in their recent non-league game against Hannan (Ashton, WV)
The Raiders now hold a 0-1 record. They play next when they travel to Eastern for a non-league game on Friday, March 28. River Valley will face a Eagles squad coming off a 14-2 non-league loss to Meigs (Pomeroy, OH). The Eagles record now stands at 0-1.
