In Friday's non-league match, the host Lamar Silver Foxes softball team scored a tight 9-6 victory over the Central Eagles.

The Silver Foxes (4-5) will now prepare for their match against Lee Central (Bishopville, SC). The Stallions go into the A Region 2 match with a 1-2 record.
