New Mexico High School Softball - Tohatchi bounces Thoreau
March 30, 2024: Thoreau, NM 87323 The Tohatchi Cougars (Tohatchi, NM) softball routed the host Thoreau Hawks (Thoreau, NM), 14-6 in Saturday's non-league bout.
The Cougars (3-2) will now prepare for their bout against Lordsburg (Lordsburg, NM). The Mavericks go into the non-league bout with a 2-1 record. In their last bout, Lordsburg notched a victory over Hatch Valley (Hatch, NM), 5-2, in a non-league bout.
The Hawks now possess a 0-4 record. They play next when they travel to Laguna Acoma for a non-league bout on Tuesday, April 2. Thoreau will confront a Hawks squad coming off a 20-7 non-league win over Santa Rosa (Santa Rosa, NM). The Hawks record now stands at 2-2.
