The Middle Tennessee Christian Cougars (Murfreesboro, TN) softball nipped the host Bell County Bobcats (Pineville, KY), 4-3 in Monday's non-league outing.

The Cougars now sport a 3-5 record. They put it on the line next when they host Battle Ground Academy for a D II-A Middle 3 outing on Tuesday, April 1. Middle Tennessee Christian will encounter a Wildcats team coming off a 10-0 non-league loss to Brentwood (Brentwood, TN). The Wildcats record now stands at 5-7.

With the loss, Bell County moves to 2-6 on the season. The Bobcats travel to North Jackson (Stevenson, AL) to encounter the Chiefs in a non-league outing on Monday, March 31.
