The Lower Richland Diamond Hornets baseball team scored 8 runs and held the visiting Darlington Falcons to 7 in the Diamond Hornets league win on Tuesday.

The Diamond Hornets now own a 3-5 record. They take the field next when they travel to Westwood for a non-league test on Thursday, April 3. Lower Richland will play a Redhawks team coming off a 16-3 non-league win over Lower Richland (Hopkins, SC). The Redhawks record now stands at 3-1.

With the defeat, Darlington drops to 1-3 on the year. The Falcons host Hartsville (Hartsville, SC) to play the Red Foxes in a test on Monday, April 21. The Red Foxes go into the test with a record of 5-4.
