The Sun Valley Spartans triumphed over the host Independence Patriots lacrosse team by a tally of 12-4 in Wednesday's non-league match.

Next up, the Spartans confront the Weddington Warriors (Matthews, NC) in a Southern Carolina/Rocky River match, on Thursday, April 3. Sun Valley will attempt to improve on its 2-2 season record. The Warriors come into the match with a 7-3 record after their 18-1 league win over Porter Ridge (Indian Trail, NC).
