The Central Eagles softball squad (Pageland, SC), was routed 13-1 in Wednesday's non-league contest with the host Anson Bearcats (Wadesboro, NC)

With the triumph, Anson improves its record to 5-12 on the year. The Bearcats travel to Monroe (Monroe, NC) to face the Redhawks in a Rocky River 2A/3A contest on Thursday, April 3. The Redhawks enter the contest with a record of 1-11. Monroe lost 18-0 in their recent league contest against Piedmont (Monroe, NC)

The Eagles now hold a 0-9 record. They play next when they travel to Cheraw for a non-league contest on Friday, April 4. Central will face a Braves squad coming off a 8-3 league loss to Andrew Jackson (Kershaw, SC). The Braves record now stands at 0-7.
