The Westside Rams baseball team scored 10 runs and held the visiting Palmetto Mustangs to 0 in the Rams non-league win on Thursday.

The Rams now own a 8-5 record. They take the field next when they host Wren for a 4A Region 1 test on Monday, April 7.

With the defeat, Palmetto moves to 2-11 on the season. The Mustangs host St. Joseph's Catholic (Greenville, SC) to battle the Knights in a 3A Region 2 match on Tuesday, April 8. The Knights come into the match with a record of 9-5. St. Joseph's Catholic lost 10-0 in their recent league match against Southside Christian (Simpsonville, SC)
