In Thursday's league contest, the host North Myrtle Beach Chiefs lacrosse squad scored a tight 9-3 triumph over the Myrtle Beach Seahawks.

The Chiefs (5-6) will now prepare for their contest against Waccamaw (Pawley's Island, SC). The Warriors go into the non-league contest with a 2-8 record. In their last contest, Waccamaw was overwhelmed by Philip Simmons (Charleston, SC), 14-7, in a non-league contest.
