North Carolina High School Lacrosse - North Lincoln drops to South Mecklenburg
April 3, 2025: Lincolnton, NC 28092 South Mecklenburg Sabres (Charlotte, NC) followers exited the stadium satisfied Thursday as they saw their lacrosse team top the host North Lincoln Knights (Lincolnton, NC), 17-6 in a non-league game.
With the victory, South Mecklenburg advances its record to 8-1 on the season. The Sabres host Charlotte Christian (Charlotte, NC) to play the Knights in a non-league game on Friday, April 4. The Knights come into the game with a record of 4-3. Charlotte Christian lost 18-6 in their recent league game against Charlotte Latin (Charlotte, NC)
The Knights now sport a 4-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Asheville for a NW/The Mountain/Western Foothills/Mtn. Foothills game on Tuesday, April 8. North Lincoln will play a Cougars team coming off a 10-7 non-league loss to Asheville School (Independent) (Asheville, NC). The Cougars record now stands at 8-2.
