The Blue Ridge Fighting Tigers baseball team scored 6 runs and held the host Seneca Bobcats to 5 in the Fighting Tigers non-league win on Friday.

The Fighting Tigers now hold a 7-6 record. They take the field next when they host Broome for a 3A Region 3 test on Monday, April 7. Blue Ridge will play a Centurions team coming off a 9-4 league win over Mountain View Prep (Spartanburg, SC). The Centurions record now stands at 5-9.

With the defeat, Seneca drops to 14-3 on the year. The Bobcats host Berea (Greenville, SC) to play the Bulldogs in a 4A Region 2 test on Tuesday, April 8. The Bulldogs go into the test with a record of 3-9. Berea lost 16-0 in their recent league test against Daniel (Central, SC)
