Aiken Fighting Green Hornets (Aiken, SC) followers exited the stadium satisfied Friday as they saw their lacrosse team nip the visiting May River Sharks (Bluffton, SC), 8-7 in a non-league game.

With the victory, Aiken advances its record to 4-8 on the season. The Fighting Green Hornets travel to Evans (Evans, GA) to play the Knights in a non-league game on Monday, April 14. The Knights come into the game with a record of 6-6. Evans won 18-0 in their recent league game against Grovetown (Grovetown, GA)

The Sharks now sport a 8-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Blythewood for a non-league game on Wednesday, April 9.
