California High School Baseball - Buena Park holds off Esperanza
April 4, 2026: Anaheim, CA 92807 In Saturday's non-league game, the visiting Buena Park Coyotes baseball team scored a close 9-5 win over the Esperanza Aztecs.
The Coyotes (1-6) will now prepare for their match against St. Paul (Santa Fe Springs, CA). The Swordsmen come into the non-league match with a 6-5 record. In their last match, St. Paul was overwhelmed by Layton (Layton, UT), 14-2, in a non-league match.
The Aztecs now possess a 9-8 record. They put it on the line next when they host Troy for a match on Wednesday, April 8. Esperanza will battle a Warriors squad coming off a 10-7 league loss to Sunny Hills (Fullerton, CA). The Warriors record now stands at 2-2.
